#Campingguests

Hi there,

All painted by us!Today was interesting. First of all we spend most of our day painting again, which was sometimes difficult as we came across various problems. First of all my paintbrush decided to annoy me and started losing almost all of his hairs. Which doesn’t sound too bad but is extremely frustrating if you are trying to paint a wall and you can’t because every time you paint a spot it takes you 5 minutes to remove all the hairs from the paint. Besides this we did not have enough yellow paint anymore (which, again, doesn’t sound too bad as the yellow vibe was a bit too much for most of us) and it seemed like we wouldn’t be able finish our Bunkhouse. Luckily Pam offered to go to the city for us to get us some more paint. Against all expectations from everybody working at this campsite we finished painting the Bunkhouse today. (I would like to mention that Mike, Pam AND Steve had expected that it would take us at least 3 days)

In between our painting sessions we have managed to help out several lost camping guest, which was sometimes made a lot more difficult than it had to be due to EXTREME Scottish accents. We also had some fun conversations with a German during the dishes and with another guy during meal. It was nice to talk to all these people and good to see that the common dining area was more crowded today.

Look at me being active! Before dinner we have also done the survival parkour today. Which was extremely fun and difficult. We haven’t been able to do it without touching the ground so we haven’t completed the first challenge yet but we will keep practicing until we will have enough skills.

Food (AVG)We have stepped up our game with our meal preparations. (this is important to mention as it shows how incredibly independent we are) Today I have had a weirdly spiced salmon (the other girls had chicken) with slightly undercooked green beans and some burned but at the same time undercooked potato slices. It was however pretty delicious ( I am not kidding, the potato slices were great and I really enjoyed the beans being a bit more crispy). Be prepared for our meal tomorrow because in less than week we will be MasterChef’s for sure!

See you tomorrow! ( I guess nobody is taking this serious anymore but whatever)

Elise
