Hi There!

That is an islandToday was our last day at Marthrown of Mabie. It feels not quite like we're going home already tomorrow. It was a fun day today. As we have worked extremely hard on all the other days of the Internship we were free today! Besides Mike taking us to some Cliffs at the end of the day we did not have any plans. Together we decided that it would be best if we would start getting ready to leave the following morning. (We will have to leave quite early tomorrow and we don't feel like waking up at 7)

It was, however, still our free day so we decided to use our morning for playing games. (Which is what we've done most of our free time, We all agree that everybody on the camping has only seen us or eating or playing games) Besides this we have used our time to do some paperwork considering the internship. Trying to post some blogs with our limited internet but also writing some blogs that still had  to be written.

At lunch we ate Pasta, this was our second warm lunch and this is all due to the fact that everybody here is too nice. We had perfectly planned all of our meals and then Pam decided to take us out for dinner so we had to eat soup as lunch once. Mike also wanted to get Pizza's with us before heading to the cliffs so we had to eat our planned dinner during lunch, again. (I quite like this tho, don't get me wrong. And Pizza is obviously amazing...)

After Lunch we were ready to prepare our lunch/dinner for friday. We had planned on eating Pancakes on the boat, so that is how we spend part of our afternoon. We didn't want to have any leftovers so while shopping we had decided to take a small pack of flour. This was a mistake. We weren't able to make a huge amount of Pancakes out of it so we are not sure if we will die of hunger tomorrow. (actually wer are quite sure we won't as we have a lot of bread left due to us eating dinner for lunch)

Then the waiting for Mike's wife to come home began. (We needed her car) At first this was not too bad, as we were just playing games again, but after a while we started to get hungry which made everything a lot less fun... (we survived tho!)

Around 5:30 Mary finally arived (I am not too sure about the time as we have basically been living without time the past week) and we could head off to the cliffs. Around halfway we stoped at a pizza restaurant to order Pizza's (we were quite hungry at this point). But we weren't allowed to eat the Pizza's just yet: we were planning on eating them at the beach. While driving to the beach the first completely blue sky slowly turned darker and it started to rain. We were scared that our nice trip on the cliffs was going to be a big dissapointment, but the weather spared us. By the time we arrived at our destination the clouds  had passed already and the sun was showing again.

Look at that dog (and the pizza duuhh)The dogs had joined us and while we were enjoying our Pizza at this extremely impressive beach (especially the view was impressive) they were begginng for some of our food. (poor dogs) After everybody had finished their Pizza's and Drinks we started on hike. Our hike started of great with first a sign to watch out for angry cows with calves (especially when you had dogs with you...) and after that a sign saying "whatch out for the bull" at the entrace of the field we had to cross. Luckily the Bull seemed to be absent and the cows were in a different field so we did not have to worry about them. After we had finshed our jouney up the hill we arrived at the cliff edge. The view was stunning, the cliff extremely steep, the sea spread in front of us. We walked trail besides the edge of the cliff for a while after which we we ended up in a kind off a tropical forest situation. The whole walk was amazing. We lost the dogs a number of times (they went hunting for rabits) but that was all that went wrong.

Today was the perfect end of our internship. Tomorrow we're going back home! We have had it very good here but it will also be nice to be home again.

See you tommorow!

Elise
