Ticketss andd contractsWow, what an adventure. Thin internship in Scotland has been such an amazing and valuable experience! I have met (not that many but anyways) amazing people, and learned so much. I have learned how to paint walls and limewash them but that was some of the least valuable things I have learned. Because besides this I have learned a lot about the Scottish people, culture and nature. Due to our job at the camping we have had various chats with campingguest, not only about the camping but also about their backgrounds and the differences between our Cultures. Besides that these differences were probably best visible at the breakfast table. One morning we were having breakfast at one side of the talbe, just the common dutch way with bread and spreads all spread out over the table, while on the other side of the table a group of Scots were having their breakfast, all cooked and prepared with baked beans, bacon and I believe even some pancakes. It was quite hilarious to see the difference in such a small thing so clearly in front of you.

Besides this we obviously have talked a lot to Pam, Mike and Steve. And combined with our little tours this also gave us a nice view on Scottish live, and the local history! Pam was very intersted in history and told us a lot about this on our tour, which was very nice. These Tours at the very basis also showed us the surrounding area which was not unintresting either, and very different from the Dutch. More differences could also be found in other basic and day - to - day stuff like Public transport and supermarkets.

To finish I would like to talk about the actual working on the campiste, which was connected to two of my goals. 1. Learning about the "behind the scenes" of working at a campsite. 2. Being usefull. I have completed both of these goals more then I had expected. While this was an fun experiences it was extremely educational as well. Except for the last they we haven't done a big variaty of thing but I have definitely been able to seen what Mike, Steve and Pam have been doing. And I am a 100% sure that we have been usefull. Not only has this been stressed by Mike, Steve and Pam, who appreciated everything we did and extreme lot, also we were thanked for our work by this guy with the wedding, which was for me one of the best moments of the Internship.

I loved this Internship, and I am glad that school pushed us to create this oppertunity for ourselves.

Thank you!
